I am from West Coast USA Contacted Starwind yesterday, spoke briefly with a sales rep who said he saw my ticket was going to pitch it to Tommy (who was the original person who replied back to me requesting logs 2 weeks ago) Im not trying to get anyone in trouble here, just need some help. Bad Blocks/Corruption on iSCSI volumes, lock up server

Any idea why all of the sudden I started receiving errors regarding bad blocks/corruption on one of my iSCSI volumes? The Starwind host shows no errors, just the guest which has the LUN presented to it. The errors appear to have gone away after restarting both the Starwind host and the guest machine...

I did tune iSCSI according to the post on the forum, openfiler targets work fine, not sure how to test wire speed?

downloaded the StarPort iniator to try and determine if it was an issue with the MS iniator; same problem.

Host running starwind is Windows 2003 R2 64-bit, all clients connecting are Win 2008

Starwind very slow in Windows

Windows 2008 iSCSI initator picks up the drives alright; but when I go to disk manager to list them they are not there; I do a Rescan of the disks which takes extremely long; actually causes Windows to timeout; eventually it attaches the disks but then bringing them online takes forever; and formatt...

Is it best practice to join the SAN to the domain or leave it as a stand-alone server?
