I'd probably do the existing node. (The make a new cluster, would probably just have me storage vmotion over the vmware data to a new LUN) I tried to just replace the existing node in test, but it didn't seem possible while things were running. Recovery from failed HA node

Two node active / active HA cluster. Server 1 catches on fire, and is not going to be able to be put back in service. No backups exist for the OS or data files on server 1.
