I currently use StarWind free version 5.8.2013 in a Windows 2008 R2 server with an Areca 18xx.
I would like to upgrade to Windows 2012R2 and wonder what the correct process is?

Do I need to upgrade to latest version first, then upgrade OS?

As the title implies, I have upgraded my vCenter and hosts to ESXi 5.1
Everything went smooth without errors. After the hosts restarted, I noticed no datastores are connected.
I re-scanned HBAs, and verified all settings were not changed by the upgrade.

It will not detect the target at all.
