Re: HA Active / Active Data Integrity

Thanks for the response. This is not important. I'm just curious. :P So in terms of a StarWind HA perspective, I have 2 nodes. ESX is happily load balanced between the 2. We lose sync and node 2 shuts down (or node 2 crashes). ESX happily switches to the remaining valid path and keeps working. I've ...

HA Active / Active Data Integrity

I have a question. We have a 2 node HA Configuration with several ESXi hosts having both nodes as iSCSI paths. So if I understand Active / Active, at any one point in time, different hosts could be accessing the same LUN on different nodes. Both are making updates. So what happens if I lose my sync ...

Kevin: I have 2-node HA servicing Hyper-V workloads. We are using RAID 0 without issues. No matter how you slice it a full resync of 16TB is going to take some time. If you have a good 10GbE network, preferably with multiple links, it should be tolerable. We have dual 10GbE links for the sync chann...

HA Sync is very painful

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I see lots of talk about this topic but much of it is dated. I'm using StarWind 6.0 with ESX. Very impressed. We lost one of our HA servers and esx never knew it happened. My only issue is that the sync process is very painful. It takes hours. And you've lost HA redunda...
