I'm happy to report back that everything worked out like expected. Due to the more drives/spindles/heads in the new RAID-group I now get >2 GByte/s read write inside a VM running on the vsandatastore (even while a lot of other VMs are still running). It was 1,6 GByte/s before with the smaller RAID-G...

Node1 migration worked out really well. Node2 is scheduled for the next weekend.
