It is not the only method, but it is for sure the easiest one for StarWind VSAN free.
There is no endpoint from the box.

You are welcome to install the software of preference that can act as a log watcher for you. My preference is Zabbix for some reason, that's why it popped up in my mind first. So the only method is watching logs with Zabbix/Loki There isn't any metrics endpoint or similar for monitoring the cluster...
