Hello,

I just moved a bunch of Windows server 2016 64 bit vm's on an old 5.5 system to a new install of Vmware ESXI 7.0 host and in the migration process they were all converted to Windows 8 32 bit images. Is there a way to correct them or a setting I can change in the Starwind convertor configuration someplace to reimport them into the proper format?

Thank you,

Jack Bishop

Welcome to StarWind Forum!
Are you referring to the VMs becoming GEN1? GEN for the VM is picked automatically based on its boot option that you specified at the source. Try converting individual disks and re-creating the VM in the destination. You can also convert GEN1 to GEN2 as described here https://www.vinchin.com/vm-tips/convert ... -to-2.html
