VM does not restart

After converting from VMware to Hyper-V using V2V converter, the VM does not restart. They get stuck at restarting. Is there a repair that needs to be done or something else?

Welcome to StarWind Forum. How exactly are the VMs stuck? Having the screenshot could help.

When I go to restart the server it sits at restarting display screen and sits there for hours. Then I have to do a power off and then power it back on.

This relates to the OS, not to the converter.
This can be caused by the updates or other reasons.
