I have converted a thick 200GB vmdk to a thin 12GB vhd successfully - however I am unable to use the new vhd. It fails inspect in Hyper-V too with the following:

An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the virtual hard disk <path and name>

Failed to open attachment <path and name> Error the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable.

Can anyone assist - I have kicked off another conversion thick to thick but this will take about 5 hours again
