Hello,
I am running version 9.0.1.554 and am getting an error when trying to convert an Azure VM to ESXi.
The error is ERROR: VMwareFile::Write: m_VixDiskLib_Write is fail - 16007, You have requested access to an area of the virtual disk that is out of bounds
This happens while converting the first of the disks and trying to write it to the VMWare data store.

Could you please tell me more about the disk type that you use?

Hi,
To me, it looks like the disk has a snapshot on it. Could you please merge it?

Hello Yaroslav,
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "merge the disk" . Can you elaborate? These disks on the machine were created from snapshots of another machine's disks, but I'm not sure how to do what you are asking.
Thanks,
Bill

I think the reason for the failure is that the VM has a snapshot on it. Try merging the snapshots.
