Windows 11 Hyper-V to VMware Workstation pro on the same machine

I have been trying to do this for a while. The challenge is that when I use the converter it wants to attach to a server, and all I want to do is to run it on the local workstation. Without a server I seem unable to get anything to happen at all.

How should I make this work?

You can convert the physical disk into the remote or local virtual disk.
