Hello,
I'd done some searching and the answer is probably no - but want to confirm, is there anyway to use tape redirector with a hyper-v linux vm? Are there any other suggestions to do this?
Thanks,
Chris

The answer is - we don't care. If you can get access to a physical hardware from inside a VM (opposite thing to what we've been trying to achieve with TR) - go ahead. Performance would probably sucks but its again up to you.

Yes, I understand that but I'd like to know if TR works with a Linux vm? If not, is there something similar to what you are trying to achieve with TR, but for a linux vm?

Never tried but should work as iSCSI is interoperable.
