I just installed StarWind initiator because MSFT was very slow against my NAS. StarWind is much faster, but hangs my entire server half way though the benchmark. I have to hard reset my power to get the server back up.
Windows 2k12 R2.

I see now that the benchmark causes the server to hang with "dpc_watchdog_violation" when testing against this iSCSI initiator. This does not happen against drives connect with MSFT initiator.

StarPort is EOL-ed product so we're not going to do anything with Windows Server 2012 R2 incompatibility issues sorry about that!
You're welcomed to use slower "blessed" MSFT initiator and report all probs directly to MSFT support staff
