can't connect to iscsi

hi all! this is my problem.
i downloaded just 2 days ago a free license of starwind a nd 2
licenses of starport.
i'm doing some test on wmvare workstation 6 platform, installing a
windows 2003 domain controller and 2 windows 2003 server i'd like
to as a cluster.
i installed starwind on my host machine (xp pro) with firewall
disabled and created 2 iscsi disks and 16 MB OF RAM.
i installed starport on server 1 on vmware , mounting iscsi disks
and ram and create the first node of the cluster.
i installed starport on server 2 on vmware , but i'm not mount
iscsi as the server 1.
the message that gives me is:
failed to connect to remote server. server may be refusing network
connections. you may need to check firewall settings.
obviously i have not firewall enabled on my host, i would not be
able to mount iscsi in server1.
i can ping virtual interface of vmware in my host machine.
now my trouble is: can 2 different licenses of starport exist on
the same network?
or what could it be the problem?
thanks all!
