We have a problem regarding connection between FCoE initiator and COMSTAR FCoE target.
Frame size is to small and after mapping LUN , when i try to format hdd , storage crash with reference to:

Can you provide Packet Data size setting up to 15500?
seems to be limited now at 1408

FCoE is dead. There would be no updates.

Keeping in mind VMware is concentrating on object storage (feeding storage directly to VM bypassing block level and file system) and Microsoft does SMB3 and sees SMB3 as a future of a VM storage we can technically consider FCoE as a dead cow now. I don't know will we open our initiator and open source it (I doubt...) but we're definitely not going to invest anything into FCoE so far.
