Hi,
I have Starwind setup in HA and hooked up xenserver. All seems fine and when I turn off 1 node, the other one picks up. All good and well, until I turn the down node backup. Xenserver isn't reconnecting, I have to restart it manually in xenserver.
How do I get xenserver to auto reconnect?
Thanks for help!

Not sure did I got you correctly... Just to clarify. You have two node HA. Node A and node B. Node B goes AWOL and node A is still in service. When node B returns from AWOL Xen server continues to work with node A entirely. Is this correct?

Hi,
Yes, it will only work from node A.
In xencenter I can see 4/8 paths only. but when I run command:
iscsiadm -m node session
It shows all 8 links active. But to restore all 8 paths in xencetner, I have to run connect manually:
iscsiadm --mode node --loginall=all
This will bring node B back into service
also, when I restart open-iscsi, it will logout but not log back in when it starts so I have to run login command again. Hope this little bit helps cause I know I am missing something reeeeallly simple...

What's inside StarWind log for Node B when it's recovered and in full sync with Node A (but still w/o active service for Xen)?

In Starwind, after the sync, only node A iqn's are there. The xen iqn is not showing up in node B, only node A

Could you please provide more detailed information about your software configuration (version of Xen and StarWind)?

Sure.
Xenserver 5.6 FP1 + Starwind 5.6
Is there an official step by step how-to guide or your latest one?
Thanks

Hi, the official guide will be on our website soon, currently Citrix team and our Q&A are solving an iSCSI bug which prevents system from functioning properly. The solution should be available during this week.
