Hello,
I'm running Starwind 5.8 free on Win Server 2008R2 64bit. I have a singe 400GB disk available to Windows. I have created a 200GB dedupe disk in Starwind and all was fine until I ran out of space when I wasn't looking. There is still the extra 200GB free on the 400GB disk in Windows.
I've removed the disk from VMware and then from the target in Starwind.
How can I increase the size of my dedupe disk?
Thanks - Jim

You need to add extra LUN and expand dynamic disk to use it.

Hi,
Do you mean we can't increase the size of the disk in Starwind? I should create another disk in Starwind, attach it to my VM then in Windows on the VM use the Disk management to extend the disk to the new disk I just added?

You can extend size of the disk in StarWind. But for deduplication you need to increment a LUN (shared deduplication base).
