I set up a vSphere Data Recovery vm with a RDM that was way too large. I didn't realize how much space the deduplication would save, and I'd like to be able to recover some of this space. Any suggestions on how I could copy the data from this into a smaller RDM.

As far as I understood RDM is on the DD correct?

Actually the deduplication was done through the vmware data recovery VSA. What I ended up doing was attaching a second smaller RDM drive and copying the data over to it.

I`m sorry, but I`m not 100% sure how starwind is involved in this, would you please clarify?
