hi
i need to add second device (another Hard drive) to the same target.
i cannot find the way to add another device because it gives an error that the target is already defined.
can someone help me?
i am using ISCSI from the windows server and connected to the server that the starwind is installed on it.

Would you be so kind to specify what device type are you using (CDP, Deduplication, HA, etc)?

hi
i am using the starwind to create folder to our backup server.
i am using it as Deduplication folder for the symantec backupexe 2013.
i want to create another Dedup folder to the system and i cant add another device to the same target(the backup server Iscsi)
hope is is clear now

You need to right-click on the target and in the dropbox menu that will appear (I have attached the corresponding screenshot) you need to choose add a New Device to the Target option.

Add Target
Remove Target
Force Remove Target
Move to group
i have license for use StarWind Enterprise Mirroring & Replication Edition
a am using ver 5.7.1733

Well, then you need to update your SAN to the current version, which is 6.0

Since you are running pretty outdated version version you will probably need a new key, which will come free if your ASM is valid.
I will ask sales representative to contact you regarding this.
