Hi,

I just did a simple install of StarWind iSCSI SAN on Windows 2008 R2. StarWind version is 6.0.5228.

I have a single "Deduplicated Disk (Ex)" device on a target. I have created snapshots on it, and the "Last Snapshot ID" under "Device Properties" has updated accordingly. However, when I right-click the device and select "Snapshot Manager...", the resulting view contains only "DDDiskEx1" - no snapshots appear.

I have tried to click refresh and nothing happens. I have tried closing the management console as well as stopping and restarting the StarWind service, but the snapshots still do not appear. I have also tried creating a snapshot using the "Create Snapshot" button in Snapshot Manager, and again, the "Last Snapshot ID" goes up but still no snapshots appear in the Snapshot Manager.

What is going on?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi,

Can you confirm that you do see the snapshot file(s) on the disk?
