Hello,

does starwind CDP edition supports VSS Hardware provider which is neccessary for Veeams B&R off-host backup proxy feature? (in hyper-v cluster environment)

The veeams off-host backup proxy feature bypasses the hyper-v node on which the VM resides and connects directly to the storage to take the cpu load of the hyper-v node to the off-host backup proxy while backup.
Another benefit is the the VM which is beeing backuped is in redirected i/o mode only for the time of an VSS snapshot. If not using the off-host backup proxy the VM is in redirected mode for the whole time
of the backup and the backup cpu load remains on the hyper-v node on which the VM resides.
