Does v8 support SAN base VMware Virtual Machine File System and RDM snapshots backups?

We provide a block storage and we basically don't care what's layered on top of us. So if ESXi will layer VMFS over StarWind LUN then the answer is YES. RDM with StarWind can work in both physical and virtual modes. See:
