Dear Friends

I was trying to use Starwind Native SAN for HyperV on a 2 node cluster. So I have Hyperv Role installed and NIC one is shared for VMs. I haven't done any thing 2 NIC 2.

2nd thing I did download and Installed Starwinds Native SAN and I was on my way to create a HA available Image. I had already watched the video. So I felt confident.
Next think you know I get to the heartbeat and sync channel and its blank as a white page.

So I don't know. Since then I have tried several things like

1. delete hyperv virtual switch.
2. uninstall Hyperv role and then restart then install starwind
3. Reinstalling Starwind application

But none of those work.

so I have 1 NIC with 10.10.11.0/24 subnet
and 2nd NIC 10.10.100.0/24

2nd NIC is directly connected to the hosts. Host1- NIC2 -->NIC2-Host2. So no switch.

And if you think that could be it. Last thing I did I had those 2 NIC connected via a switch too. and same result. So please help what to do.

Thanks

OK

After a whole day of doing different options. Today I started with Fresh installation of Windows server 2012. Steps are as follows

1. Install windows server 2012
2. Set your IP address for your NICs
3. Name your server and Enable Remote desktop.
4. Restart ur server
5. Join your server to your Domain and restart.
6. Add HyperV and File server roles. Restart
7. Install Starwind Native SAN

And The network page was there the way I wanted.
