I have Starwind software installed on both HA node servers. Usually I can connect to both nodes from either servers (ServerA / ServerB). One day ServerB could connect only to its own, not serverA while ServerA was still doing fine. Now ServerA can connect to only its own, just like ServerB. I have tried remove host, and add it back using either ip address or dns servername. I got the error
Connection Failed
StarWind Service not found on host - ServerA : 3261
My usernane and password are correct. I verified that StarWind services are running on both servers. I even stop and restart it, and reboot serverB. Same problem.
-----
StarWind Management Console for Windows version 5.4.1608
Both servers are on Windows 2003 R2, Service pack 2.

Start with an upgrade to V6 as the one you use is too old to be supported...

I am afraid this is not an option for our company at this point. All I need is to restore the working condition. Do you think reinstall software would help?

If you're going to spend time on re-install do upgrade to the supported production version.

No it's not a free upgrade as your ASM had expired years ago.
You may try to use free trial to see would it fix your issue as we cannot spend time looking at the potential bugs fixed in 5.5, 5.6. 5.8, 6.0 etc etc etc.
