I've tried to deploy a VSAN from within starwind to an ESX 5.5 host.

I get an error:

Unsupported hypervisor version. Version 5.1 or upper is required.

ESX version is: 5.5.0, 1746018

Fix for working with ESX 5.5 has been added, we'll update build on the web site after short testing.

Contact support directly and they would give you access to the build with hypervisor version check changed.
