All,
In the constant quest to squeeze every bit of performance out of the host OS running Starwind, what does Starwind recommend with regards to disabling Write-Cache Buffer Flushing?

The underlying storage is running through a LSI 2971-8i Controller with BBU. The virtual disks consist of a set of 14 10k Velociraptors running in RAID10, a pair of 1TB Samsung 840SSds running in RAID1, and a set of 6 3TB Hitachi 7.2k rpm drives running in a RAID5.

I'm NOT currently running HA nodes due to an issue hopefully addressed in V8.

It would seem that disabling write-cache buffer flushing would be acceptable in my case since the LSI's cache is backed up with battery and is in perfect working condition.

Does Starwind of the community have any tweaks they've made to a Windows 2012 OS that has shown promise?

Thanks

For StarWind single-node setup is actually a pain (degraded multi-node setup) so I don't think you'll find a lot of people using it in production. Please still configure some decent amount of RAM for write-thru cache (possibly throwing in some flash).
