Hello everyone,

I try ti configure two nodes cluster with StarWind free license and I have faced a problem "No physical disk detected"
Is this a restriction of free license ? I have two storages RAID-1 SSD and RAID-5 HDD for both servers. no one storages are available in the list.
vCenter is located on RAID-5 with StarWind 1 node , StarWind 2 node is located on a second server also on RAID-5. Network connectivity to each other works perfectly. Plug-in is installed on vCenter.

Hi,

It is not a known limitation of the software. Could you please let me know how the storage is connected to StarWind CVM? Is it VMDK?

oh, Okay , I get it.
I missed the moment that I should attach a storage to CVM myself with ESXi or vCenter functionality .
I thought SW management console works directly with Datastore of ESXi.

Thanks you!

You need to expose the storage to the VM either as RDM, pass-through, or VMDK.
