Hi all,

I’m trying to test RDMA connectivity and performance using the nd_rperf.exe tool on Server 2022 with an Intel E810 NIC. However, I’m encountering the following error when running the tool (getting this in both server and client mode)

Code: Select all

nd_rperf.exe -s -a 192.168.155.212
StarWind RDMA performance and latency test tool v1.0.2
NdOpenIAdapter failed with c0000141 - ND_INVALID_ADDRESS
  • The IP address I’m using (192.168.155.212) is assigned to the RDMA-capable Intel E810 adapter.
  • I have the latest Intel drivers and firmware installed.
  • RDMA is enabled and appears functional otherwise (I can see RDMA stats with other tools).

Has anyone successfully used nd_rperf.exe with Intel E810 NICs? Does this tool require Mellanox or RoCE interfaces, or is there a known compatibility issue with Intel iWARP?

Would appreciate any troubleshooting tips or confirmation of support/limitations.

Thanks!

I believe it needs RoCE.
