Think about the "Auto-Restored Snapshot" mode.
How can I make the journal files be stored on the client but not the server.

1) We have auto-restore mode.

2) Find initiator capable of doing this (I don't think there are any).

yes,when i change some files in the .img, the client get a error about "chkdsk \game.img..."

Stop doing what you're doing. Very simple. StarWind was not designed for this.
