Hello all -- I am trying to use the free license for my home setup. When I try to register the software via the GUI by selecting the license I downloaded (1978), it says registered successfully, but then immediately says "Does not accept connections", and if I check the license it says "Expired". Am I missing something?
BTW: Also considering this product for work as augmentation to our main iSCSI SANs but want to get this license issue worked out first.

Sound like for some reason license was not really applied... Could you please try to unregister, restart StarWind service, try to register free license again, connect with iSCSI initiator and send us StarWind log? Thank you!

Any updates on this? My trial is about to end (Sunday) and I would like to get this solved so I can test a bit longer and then recommend a license quantity to my boss...

Hi.
This means that there is another machine in your network registered with this license. It is impossible to register 2+ machines because it is license violation. Only one of them works correctly the other ones say that they do not accept connections.
To move the license please unregister the old machine (press Unregister button on the registration dialog and restart StarWind service) and then register the new machine in the usual way.
To get prolonged trial license or NFR license please contact our support team.
