880 megabits per second is a moderate result for 1 NIC. So for now 1) turn all TCP stack optimizations OFF 2) Turn back to non-teamed configuration and try to squeeze 950-980 megabits from one NIC. Installing latest drivers and playing with Jumbo frame size (4K or 9K).

Network speed went down through the teaming network adapter.

I did the TCPIP registry thing -

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize = 0x01400000 (DWORD)
TcpWindowSize = 0x01400000 (DWORD)
Tcp1323Opts = 3 (DWORD)
SackOpts = 1 (DWORD

and

I have the Intel Pro/1000 PT QuadPort, and I have the teaming set on
IEEE 802.3ad Dyanmic Link Aggregation. Any thought? It just doesn't seem like I'd reach that 1.6GB speed..

Just reporting back.

The 880megabites per second is on teamed NIC card.

I did turn off all TCP stack optimization, un-teamed the NIC, and installed latest driver and Jumbo frame size set at 4k. I was able to get about 930 megabites from a single NIC. But when I teamed them again, I am not even able to reach over 900 megabites at all. Any possible theory on that ?

Thanks!

This means hardware vendor NIC teaming implementation just sucks... So for now please leave NICs as un-teamed and configure StarWind to use second NIC as alternative path. With upcoming V5.7 (1.5 - 2 months from now) we're going to represent our custom teaming for both performance and redundancy an solve this problem once and forever.

Got it.

Two questions

Will snapshot function ever be implemented for HA?

Would you be able to send me the preset IOmeter configuration file for testing the 64kb access specification ? I am testing the RAM disk now.

Thanks.

Snapshots +HA are scheduled for 6.0
As for the IOmeter config file - drop us a letter to support@starwindsoftware.com and I will send you the appropriate icf file.
