Two problems with StarWind 3.5.1 on W2k8 RC1
Posted: Fri Dec 21, 2007 9:10 am
Hello!
I am testing StarWind 3.5.1 on W2k8 RC1. Two problems appeared:
1. If I try to log in with username "test", but without password, StarWind console shows an error, and then an endless "Please wait" progress bar that never stops. If I click Cancel in it, I get:
---------------------------
StarWind
---------------------------
This will drop the connection, you will need restore it manually. Do you really want to stop the operation?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
If you are interested, I captured process's hang dump.
2. I created a RAM disk, and connected it to another W2k8 RC1 server. The disk appears correctly, but fail to format. At this time, Microsoft iSCSI Initiator logs following errors:
