Unable to login to management console after uname/pwd change

Dear,

I just succesfully tried the StarWind iScsi target on my home network. Everything seems to work just fine.

As indicated during the installation, I changed the username and the password for logging in to the management console of the target. I entered a new set of credentials, but with a quite elaborate password. When I try to log in now, I can't enter this lengthy password, only 8 characters seem to be allowed.

Is this a know bug, intended by design, and most of all correctable?

Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,

Glenn

This was a known issue. Try to update your build of StarWind (just download the trial version from the web site and apply your license).

I just downloaded the newest version and am having this problem. Reinstalling doesn't help.

Any other ideas?
