What if you bought StarWind 4.x with annual maintenance & support, and it is still current, but have not upgraded yet to Starwind 5 (which is a paid upgrade not included in the maintenance fee). Surely Starwind 4.x is still supported for these customers?

If your ASM is still valid you are able to upgrade to adequate version of StarWind for free.
And yes, we support such customers. We just do not provide StarWind 4.x for download.
