Trouble Connecting to Target

Ive been running starwind for a little while now on one host. It works fine. Recently I added another host to my vmware enviroment. I configured 1 nic for isci traffic and gave its own static ip. I configured this nic to point to the starwind server ip however it doesnt see the target I have configured on it. Can a target only have one host connected to it at once?

It depends on how you actually configured it. What target are we talking about? Have you checked in Clustering check-box?

Looks like I have not configured the target for clustering...how can I configure it? Do I need to somehow dismount it? Or is this a one time setting that cannot be changed?

You will need to disconnect it from the client server (see unpresenting LUNs from ESX) delete it and recreate it with the "enable multiple concurent iSCSI connections(clustering)" checkbox checked :)

you can also do that by editing the starwind.cfg with notepad, there search for your target's alias and in the same line you will see clustering="no". Change it to "yes", save the changes and restart the StarWind service.

So I tried editing the starwind.cfg file like you had mentioned. I made the change and saved the cfg file however it doesnt appear that clustering is enabled at all.

Actually I rebooted the whole system after I made that change. That should take care of restarting the service right?
