How to snapshot the Citrix Xenserver ISCSI virtual disk

Hi all,
I set up Starwind SAN as our Citrix xenserver storage. It's working very well. Also, the device type is snapshot and CDP.
Now, I have the problem that there was no snapshot created after I clicked Create Snapshot. Do I need install StarWindVSS.exe into each virtual guest or modify other settings of Starwind?
i will be greatly appreciated if anyone could help me.
Thank you

Snapshot would be created anyway, and if not - there must be diagnostic message in logs.

Thank you!
I have another question. Is it possible I can use StorageCraft shadowprotect, the VSS backup software, to backup the SAN image file because the device type is snapshot and CDP?

1) You can use any VSS aware backup software to create a snapshot from StarWind volume.
2) It does not matter is device snapshot and CDP or not. It *DOES* matter however is there any hardware or software VSS provider shipped. We have both so everything should work fine.
3) I would use StarWind built-in backup engine (check V5.8 beta) for backup / restore of individual virtual machines. It's a *BAD* idea to backup / restore whole LUN with many VMs caught in the different system state.
4) I'd stay away from SC software. The idea / design they use is dangerous. What they install and write drivers for should be done in user mode or @ SAN side.
