I am running RAM Disk 5.5 Build 0x20100903 and would like to know if there is a way to make the default file system FAT32 or NTFS? I can manually format as Fat32 or NTFS, but would like for this format to survive a reboot.
The whole data is disappearing from RAM disk since Random Access Memory is a temporary storage device.
But when the system is hibernated... the RAM contents are transferred to the hard disk which after the system comes out of hibernation, the contents are restored.

Yes, I'm expecting the data to disappear after a reboot. However, I would like the format of the RAM disk drive to be FAT32, as opposed to FAT, when the system is brought back online with the RAM drive. Right click the RAM drive in explorer and select properties. You will see the file system is of type FAT.
Dear goingwhere,
it is impossible with the products that you are using. Ram Disk is using FAT16 formatting only. If you would use StarWind you would have possibility to use FAT32 formatting too.
