Hi,

I am using version 5.4 and I cannot seem to extend a HA iSCSI target. I have the option to extend a basic virtual disk but not for the HA version. Is there anything that I am doing wrong or can this not be done?

Regards,

Hello Manos_Arriba,

So, as lodiver mentioned it cannot be done with 5.4.
I will ask you to suggest you to install the latest version on your SAN boxes.
Please let me know if your SAN is in production environment for I to could provide you with the best upgrade instructions.

Thank you

Hi,

It is possible for me to break the HA and then add the image a local one to one of the servers, then extend, then remove that target and then recreate the HA again using the newly extended HA?

Not it is not in production. Is this functionality available in 5.8?

Yeah, this would work, but as far as I can see from your next post ( http://www.starwindsoftware.com/forums/ ... f3c#p16072 ) you have already upgraded to the 5.8 so you dont need this workaround anymore :)

You should see the Extend Device option after you will right click on the device
