Breaking a HA device removes all data?

Hi,

I have Starwind v5.4 and I had a HA device, I removed the target and then added a new one as a Basic Virtual device and mounted the existing IMG file. I used the iscsi initiator on my cluster server and then went to disk management and the disk seemed empty, it was uninitialised. Is this supposed to happen?

I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter on all of the servers.

First of all your SAN software is really outdated - the current version is 5.8. I would strongly recommend to upgrade it. you can find the download link at your Customers Page that you can find by using the link below:

Please let me know if your SAN is in production environment for I to could provide you with the best upgrade steps.
