Possible to disable de-dupe on a volume? or Convert volume?

Is it possible to disable de-dupe on a volume?

Alternatively, is it possible to convert the volume entirely so that it doesn't use dedupe?

I'm fairly certain it's the de-dupe that's causing this crippling slowness b/c basic .img devices perform reasonably well.
Surely the engineers at Starwind know of a way to convert the advanced virtual disk type to a standard img?
Even an experimental, unsupported method would be acceptable at this point.

The only way for now is to create device that you want to use instead and move all the data there.
