I have a Snapshot/CDP volume set currently at 2 TB and snapshots are created every hour. Although it is a dynamic volume it is getting close to filling up and is approaching the 2 TB. Can I extend this volume to let's say 4 TB or will I need to create a new separate volume and copy over the data? I just upgraded to the latest version 6 this morning (9/20/2012), but I don't see any way to do it through the GUI. Normal volumes without CDP/Snapshot can be extended just fine. Is there maybe a command line to do it?

Hi,

you are correct - you need to create the bigger device and move the data onto it.
In the future releases we will have the feature that would allow to do this on-fly. Stay tuned.
