I am using Starwind version 5.8.2059 with the HA license. I was able to create 19 HA stores with full sync, etc without any issues. However, I am not able to create the 20th store. Every time I go through the wizard to create an HA store, at the very last step before I can hit finish, the StarWind console crashes. I am not able to do anything on it until I reboot the entire server.
I have verified that all the NIC drivers are up to date and Windows is patched, etc. Is there a limit on the number of HA store that can be created? There is nothing in the logs that StarWind support was able to find  that suggested any issue. Please help!!

1) Please update to the most recent version of StarWind (V6)

2) Please give a try to 1) and if you'd experience the same issues we'd be happy to take a look at them :)

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion! I won't be able to perform an upgrade until next week because I still have stores that are not HA yet and need to schedule downtime. But is there a bug in the version I am currently on that would cause this issue? Because otherwise I am just wasting more time if I run into the same issue again after the upgrade!! Thank you!

For anyone who cares, this was caused by a license issue. The license was for 8 TB and the newest LUN I was provisioning took it over the 8 TB limit causing the the console to crash instead of showing an error. Starwind will look into improving that so that the console doesn't crash.

vivek,

Could you pls upload .mdmp file from С:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\StarWind\5\Console\ to some file hosting(mediafire or other) and send upload link to this email beta-testing@starwindsoftware.com.

That is weird. Do you see any .mdmp files in StarWind installation folder?
