Hello!
I'd like to know how're things going with infiniband in starwind.
We have two powerfull servers and plan to build 2 nodes SAN.
What should we prefer as interconnect for ultimate replication perfomance, infiniband or 10g ethernet?
The price is almost the same.
Any benchmark results?
And is there support and sales in russian?

PS My english is bad, sorry.

For now you'll have to stick with TCP-over-IB as there's no native IB support within StarWind. Works fine.

TCP over IB(40gb or 56gb) faster or slower than 10g ethernet for starwind HA?
TCP over IB officially supported?

TCP-over-IB gets 20-25% overhead and a bit more latency. So 40GB IB should be MUCH faster then 10 GbE.

Yes.

Just wondering if you guys have added infiniband support in your newest version 6.0, since this thread was started. I was thinking of doing 10GB Infiniband since it's much cheaper than 8GB fiber. Do I still need to do TCP over IB?

Yes you still need to run IP-over-IB (good news it's working flawlessly in Windows Server 2012). Native IB support for sync channel is put on hold (no IB partner yet).
