Starwind 2 Node HA Ent. - Which VMware Version to Purchase?

Thank you in advance for any information. I am looking at purchasing Starwind 2 Node HA Enterprise for 8TB. I am wondering if VMware Standard Acceleration kit will work or do I need the VMware Enterprise Kit for the Multipathing and Storage API, or does the Starwind HA software even use those API's?
