Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my current Hyper-V Native SAN cluster from 2 nodes each with 6 x 1gbps nics, to 3 nodes each with 4 x 1gbps nics and 1 x dualport 10gbps nic.

I have been reading about Windows server 2012 virtual network improvements for some time, and Like what I am reading.
I created some diagrams to demonstrate 2 of the many possible ways to hook it all together. Keep in mind these are initial drafts..

I am wondering if anyone else here is working with a similar setup, and if anyone see's any major issues with this design.
Also I would need to know if this is supported from Starwind Software.

2012 has issues with CSV backups, regarding DPM (or any vss I think).

That's why we are sticking with 2008 for now. We use DPM extensively so we can't really go with an unsupported setup.

I will say that clustering and csv was a lot easier to configure on 2012 than 2008R2.
