Hello,

I am wondering if there might be any consideration to allow for updating target IP information from inside the StarWind client in such a way that wouldn't require the target to be removed, then re-added? The idea came up when I needed to adjust some IPs on our network and partly because of a dumb mistake I made (forgot to RTFM  ).

The second item that I would love to have (again so that I don't have to drop and re-add the LUNs) is the ability to adjust the caching of a target on the fly. This would have a couple of things with the first being the ability to change the caching type (WT, WB, none). The second would be to adjust how much memory the cache is given. The idea for this is that as LUNs are added and removed I have wanted to adjust the amount of RAM available to the LUN for performance (or remove as I add additional LUNs). The other is to switch to None because yet another vehicle has taken out power to our building and we are going down for 3 hours.

Overall it is a good product but would be nice to have a little more flexibility either from inside the GUI or from a configuration file.

Thanks for any consideration.

Do you mean that you want to change target`s portal IP or change IP adresses that are used for SyncChannel or HeartBeat?

We are on the same page with you on this - we are planning to hgive our users to change cahce settings on fly one of the next releases.

Thank you very much for your feedback - we do really appreciate it.
