How would you setup this cluster ?

you can use VLANs
you can team nics
you can remove SW3 and use crossover cables

all surjections are welcome.

There is only a few rules:
1) Only the Management subnet or VLAN can access the physical machines and switches
2) the running vm are 2 only know about their virtual switches and the LAN (aka cloud)
3) The PC AD/DC is only for the nodes and storage, if the VM's need a DC, it will be a VM.
4) Try to limit the network traffic/congestion as mush as possible
5) use the color code below or more if needed

You may be able to pull some ideas from my setup. I have used this setup for many months now without issue:

I Virtualized all my AD/DCs

Hi fbifido,

To be honest I`m pretty sure that CCI shared with us pretty good diagram to follow - I do can confirm that it looks great. Just don`t forget to follow our Best Practices guide lines that you can find by using this link.

I see that few data links are marked as "iSCSI + Sync", so they will be used as the IPs for client connections and the Synchronization channel at the same time? If yes, then I must warn you that it is highly recomended to to separate SyncChannel from everything else. Also, I want you to read through this document:
