Hi,
I use Starwind version 6.0.5713. I faced HA connection lost without any network lost or storage error.
Is version 6.0.5713 includes update "20.08.2013"?
I think my errors may correct patch number "20.08.2013".
"HA device become not synchronized without any obvious reason like failure of network or of underlying storage. "

Thanks,

Hi Anatory,

When I use hyper-v live migration on WSFC, all of Starwind HA datalink for WSFC CSV is missing.
But all of other HA disks are not affected.
Of course, any kind of storage, switch, network adapters and OS are working properly.

What is the cause do you think?

I think that this is weird, and that shouldn`t happen.

May I ask you to provide me with next information:
· StarWind logs from all problematic SAN boxes
· Windows Application and System logs (in *.csv format) from all problematic SAN boxes
· Detailed network diagram of SAN system
· Description of the actions that were performed before/at the time of the issue (I mean, if the Live Migration was teh only thing that was happening on hte time of the issue?)

Thank you

That was like two years ago, and I do not remember exactly, but as far as my bell rings - that was some hardware related issue.
So, you are facing the same issue with StarWind v8? Have you checked the StarWind and Windows logs regarding some errors or warnings, that are not StarWind related?

well... my V8 installation did not reached that point (http://forums.starwindsoftware.com/view ... f=5&t=3948).
So i don't know if I (would) have the same issue.

Maybe desmotre, who posted the issue first, knows a solution or where the problem was.

regards
Joerg

PS.: I will have a deeper look into the starwind and windows log-files when this behaviour occurs next time and keep this thread updated

I think we need to take a closer look at your logs to be able to provide you with any comments regarding this issue.
