Hi -
I have the paid version of ISCSI SAN and I'm looking for help while I wat ti hear back from Tech support. This morning about 6:30 mountain the volumes became un available to my host servers.
I rebooted the san, windows 2012 standard and it came backup. when I tried to connect to the san via the management software, it went into (not responding). It will connect, and then when I try to do something, it goes back into not responding.
I've got the event logs to send.
Very Basics -
working on network diagram. Very simple, iscsi through a single switch
VmWare host ip 10.50.2.1 & 10.50.2.7
VmWare Host IP
second vmware host IP
Starwind target IP 10.50.2.91 & 10.50.2.87
Target server os server 2012 standard
no actions being taken at the time of the issue.
SAN was knocked offline. After reboot, starwind software gives a not responding when trying to connect to server. Connects after a couple of minutes and then goes into not responding.
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Dylan

Update - After letting the system try to connect for 2 hours, the console became active again and I was able to connect the target and remount the drives. What can I do to figure out root cause?
Thanks,
Dylan

Please start with sending us StarWind from your server. We'd probably have more questions after we'd get hands on one.

Starwind software responds after a couple of hours to reboot. According to me you should check the proxy settings manually, this will fix the problem. If your problem is not solved then, I think your are required to contact your service provider i.e starwind support team for the same.

I see that your case that you`ve submitted to support@ is resolved already so I`d highly appreciate if you could give us the update.
Also I`d like you to know that I can guarantee that you will get the response much faster through contacting support directly, rather then going to forum.
