Hi Community,

I just want to try out StarWinds VSAN for vmware using the "Deploy Virtual SAN" Wizard. At third step "Select Starwind installation image" it forces me to point to the Starwind .iso file. I don't have this iso file. Is is downloadable at your website? It is not included in downloades at the registration page.

Thanks a lot,
Regards

Sounds weird...

Can you drop me the screenshots?

The step of the wizard that you are talking about should look like this:

Thanks for your reply.

Attached some screenshots. The wizard goes through Start, ESX hypervisor, windows server installation media and then following screen.

Regards

Edit: The download location in your screenshot works.

May I doublecheck what Windows OS is used to run StarWind?
Also, could you please doublecheck if the StarWind server has connection to internet and nothing blocks it? Perhaps it is a good idea to disable AV and/or Firewall.
Can I ask you to doublecheck if you see the following file on the StarWind box:
C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\console\VSABuilder\VSABuilderWizard.exe.config
